Troop 4070 History & Charter Organization
Sedro-Woolley Scouting Troop 4070 was founded in 1967 and is chartered by the American Legion in Sedro-Woolley. Troop 4070 is a well-established troop that has been serving the community for over 50 years, helping young people develop into confident, capable, and caring adults. We are currently a smaller troop, with 8 active Scouts registered and participating in all activities. We're looking to expand membership nearly double next year as the Cub Pack 4070 graduates new Scouts.
Our Leadership
Our troop is led by a dedicated team of adult volunteers who are passionate about Scouting and youth development. The troop is supported by one Scoutmaster, several assistant Scoutmasters, and a troop committee that oversees administrative tasks and fundraising efforts. We believe in teaching Scout Skills and encouraging rank advancement at eaech Scount's own pace, driven by their own individual motivation. Our focus aligns with the core values of Scouting, emphasizing character development, leadership, citizenship, and outdoor skills.
